Extra information:

I have been working as a photojournalist for twenty years with my photographs being regularly published worldwide.

I documented many of the major humanitarian crises of the 1990’s including Rwanda, Bosnia and Kosovo and more recently the aftermath of the Tsunami in Sri Lanka. I have previously been short listed for the Amnesty Photojournalism Award for my photo essay on refugees.

I have worked extensively on assignments for many international aid agencies including UNHCR, Oxfam, UNICEF and the International Red Cross specialising in the coverage of refugee crises in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. In the UK many leading voluntary sector organisations have commissioned me to document their socially orientated work.I have worked extensively in schools producing photographs for their public relations.

In recent years I’ve taken photographs for the leading educational publishers - Evans, Wayland, Francis Lincoln and Dorling Kindersley – undertaking diverse photography assignments in Jamaica, China, Egypt, Sweden, Bangladesh, southern Africa and the USA. Exhibitions have included the National Theatre, London (1998), Guardian Newsroom, London (2003, and the Side Gallery, Newcastle (2004).
