Vicky Hayward is a freelance writer, based in Madrid, whose features and essays about the arts, food, travel and social issues are published internationally. She has written about the history of food in Spain and worked as a book editor, specialising in cutting-edge visual books, autobiographies and studies of food and culture. From her writing have grown arts consultancies in other media, especially for flamenco.
