Front Cover of The Economist © stefano cagnoni Front Cover of The Economist
This photo of Arthur Scargill, President of the NUM & Neil KInnock, then Leader of the Labour Party, was taken at the Durham Miners' Gala. It was the only time that these two symbolic figures appeared beside each other during the year long Miners' dispute. As well as The Economist, this image, or similar, appeared extensively in papers, magazines & book covers.
Front Cover of The New Statesman © stefano cagnoni Front Cover of The New Statesman
This photo of Margaret Hodge, taken at the time she was Leader of Islington Council, was a prescient image of the figures who were to become archetypes of 'New Labour'.
Front Cover of Business section of The London Evening Standard © stefano cagnoni Front Cover of Business section of The London Evening Standard
A commission for a press & pr company resulted in a photo they were very happy with. The photo was sent to The Evening Standard 'on spec', so the fact that they published it so prominently satisfied the client 100%.
