Pete Jenkins has more than thirty years' experience in the photographic industry, including thirteen years as the Sunday Telegraph's Rugby Union specialist, and ten years running a successful London-based sports photo agency.
Now based in Nottingham, Pete is a photographic consultant undertaking photographic work for unions, magazines, newspapers and commercial clients. He also writes for magazines such as Professional Photographer and the British Journal of Photography.

The modern consumer is so well used to the photographic image that it can often be taken for granted. As buildings, events, and locations are no longer viewed with the respect they deserve; what can, and often does catch the consumer's eye, is the 'detail'. The reflection in a window, a close up of a particularly beautiful piece of carving, a child's face, joyful with
the excitement of discovering a new wonder.
Hence 'Detail Photography', Pete Jenkins' unfailing ability to capture the very essence of an image and present it in it's most arresting form is now about so much more than just 'sporting' images.'
